Rece Jones is a 2022 3B/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Greenbrier, AR who attends Greenbrier. Medium to larger frame with an athletic, physically strong build. Ran a 7.80 second sixty yard dash. Primary Thirdbaseman showing good first steps reading it well off the bat. Fielding the baseball out front working smoothly through it. Accurate throws showing a fluid arm with carry across the diamond. Good feel for the position that projects well. Righthanded hitter starting from an open stance with narrow feet. Hands sink during separation before working into an uphill swing path. Big leg kick throwing weight well into swing. Middle to pull side approach creating loud contact throughout the weekend. Aggressive early in counts looking to drive the baseball finding the barrel often. Outstanding Student.
