Hunter Henault is a 2022 RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Westlake. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Works from the stretch with a deliberate set of mechanics, some drop and drive to the plate with his lower half, gets over his front side well and gets good extension out front, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, mostly straight with occasional sinking action, throws strikes with his fastball and pitches to contact aggressively. Also threw a mid-60's curveball with 11/5 shape. 7.36 runner in the sixty. Right handed hitter, moves into contact well and has a pretty short and direct swing, middle of the field line drive contact, has a bit of bat speed and looseness in his hands out front. Good student.
