Alex Whetsell is a 2022 3B/RHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Columbus, OH who attends Upper Arlington. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build proving to be projectable. Ran a 7.38 second sixty yard dash. Primary Thirdbaseman, showing some first step quickness as he works well to and through the baseball. Clean gather out front as he shuffles into throws. Longer arm action as he threw it 70 MPH across the diamond during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting a bit closed off before working into his load and stride. Longer swing path as he looks to let the baseball get deep and drive it the other way. Showing strength in swing. Good Student.
