Ethan Zbeda is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends Olympic Heights. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a well timed load and trigger, swings hard and creates some bat speed, gets into his lower half well, line drive contact, has a chance at the plate with this swing if he can get stronger. 7.04 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has good fundamental actions in the outfield, fields the ball out front with good glove position, transitions into his throws well and makes accurate throws. Also pitched, has a high leg raise delivery with drop and drive mechanics down the mound, has some deception. Fastball topped out at 74 mph with some running life, change up was a nice pitch with fade, landed his curveball well to the glove side. Threw strikes and competed well. Good student.
