Branson Crawford is a 2026 C/RHP/OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Gainesville, GA who attends Gainesville. Recorded a 6.61 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a medium athletic build. SHowed a super quick transfer behind the dish with high energy actions. Accurate and on line with throws to second consistently. Good zip with excellent arm strength, up to 81 mph behind the plate with a 1.90 pop time in drills. Also worked out in the outfield and showed methodical actions with good fundamentals. Moves with athleticism and used long and fast arm, recoridng throws up to 93 mph. Right-handed hitter and starts from a narrow base. Employs a hanging leg lift trigger and evident twitch to the frame. Quick hands and produced consistent barrels during the round. Rotational stroke and whips the barrel through the zone. Short and simple stroke with lots of liners to pull side. Recorded an exit velocity of 90 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher and begins delivery with a leg lift to core level. Worked from a good tempo on the mound used a compact arm action, topping at 86 mph with the fastball. High-3/4 slot and located to the edges well. Mixed in a two-plane slider that featured bite. Excellent student.
