Sebastian Gomez is a 2024 RHP/1B, 3B, IF, OF, UT with a 5-11 169 lb. frame from Johns Creek, GA who attends St. Pius X. Ran a 7.73 sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher with good size and lean, athletic build. Abbreviated windup that maintained a direct line to the plate and featured an unrestricted arm-action that releases his repertoire from an over-top slot. Sound lower half activation and clean mechanics leads to plenty of bottom of the zone result with a fastball at 79-mph with life through the zone. Complemented his fastball with a curveball with 12/6 break and occasional depth at 60-mph. Used a changeup with arm-speed for sell at 71-mph. Secondary outfielder with range and feel for the glove that worked through the ball well and produce on-line, accurate throws to bases with carry at 73-mph. Square stance with low hand setup at the plate. Short through the hitting zone with developing feel for barrel, yet pull-side result when right due to torque generation in the lower half and evident leverage with step to start swing and backside load. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
