Hudson Wesney is a 2023 3B/RHP, SS with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Warsaw, OH who attends Coshocton. Recorded a 7.47 second sixty-yard dash time. Large, thicker frame with well proportioned strength throughout. Primary third baseman with deliberate footwork into the fielding process, clean funnel out in front and smooth exchanges from glove to hand. Displayed ability to react well to both sides, while showing the ability to change arm slots when necessary. Recorded arm strength up to 80 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher; full windup delivery with square start, small side-step into a slightly above belt high leg lift and good usage of his lower half down the slope. Fastball worked in the upper-70s for the duration of his outing, topping out at 80 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Displayed some deception by changing slots to try and disrupt the hitters. Four pitch mix with curveball and changeup slightly behind the fastball, tight slider combination in terms of refinement. Proficient strike thrower with ability to change speeds well. Right-handed hitter that hits from an open stance with an exaggerated high hand set, high back elbow and big leg lift trigger. Whole field approach with slightly inside and uphill swing path; displays strength through contact and power potential to all fields. Fairly consistent bat-to-ball skills with some feel for the barrel. Will continue to improve overall hit tool with less movement into contact and proper swing adjustments.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
