Tucker Cagle is a 2023 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Vinemont, AL who attends Cullman. Showed above average speed with his 6.99 second sixty. Primary left-handed pitcher with a long athletes build. Works from the first base side of the rubber with a clean delivery getting down the mound with good lower half drive as the arm works on a shorter track through the back to a three-quarters arm slot with a quick shoulder. The fastball showed some good life to the bottom of the zone topping out at 87 mph and living in the mid 80's with spin rates in the 2000 RPM range on the four seam and 1800 RPM on the two seam. Mixed in both a changeup and a curveball as his secondary pitches with fading action on the changeup and some depth on the breaking ball that tunnels nicely out of the same arm slot off of the fastball. Showed good feel for the actions in the outfield receiving the ball out front and working quickly onto the throws with an on time release generating solid carry on the ball flight with acc throws. Left-handed hitter, starts with a narrow base using a toe tap trigger with good rhythm and timing to the swing. Shows flashes of bat speed through the zone working best to the pull side when he is able to use his length to create extension out front. Very good student. Named to the 2022 Sunshine Gulf Coast Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
