Jack Rupe is a 2024 RHP/2B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Huntsville, AL who attends Buckhorn. Lean and long high waisted young body with lots of room to get stronger. Works from a full windup with a high leg raise start, has a whippy and loose arm action from a high 3/4's arm slot, moves down the mound well and shows good athleticism in his delivery. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with some arm side running life. Slider was a solid second pitch for him, was firm with good horizontal depth and occasional two-plane tilt. Killed the spin on his change up effectively and had some fade. Three-pitch starter profile who will continue to add velocity as he gets stronger. 7.57 runner in the sixty. Played the infield when not on the mound, stays low to the ball and works through it well, arm works well from the same high 3/4's slot. Left handed hitter, has a short and compact swing with good timing, fluid swing mechanics, can turn the barrel at times, projectable swing with additional strength. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
