Alberto Diaz is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Colegio Bautista de Caguas. Medium frame with a lean build showing room to fill out in the future. Ran a 7.21 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Works into a high leg lift with a tuck. Full arm circle and then released from a higher three-quarter slot. Fast paced delivery as the arm beats the lower half down the mound. Fastball up to 80 mph as he looked to keep it down in the zone. Also mixed in a strait changeup that he landed for strikes. Secondary Outfielder, flashed short steps as he worked into the baseball before gathering to the side. Transfers and then released with intent as he flashed arm strength. Accurate to the bag as he threw it 86 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting even while slightly closed off with the front side. Little to no separation or load as he threw hands at the baseball. Looked to let it travel deep before driving it the other way. Stayed linear through the zone as he looked to spray it on a line. Outstanding Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
