Aidan Murphy is a 2024 RHP/2B/SS/OF with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Pope. Murphy works from a lean projectable build with room to add strength and fill out the frame. As a primary RHP, he displayed a medium leg lift and remained balanced over the rubber well with a deep arm path and 3/4 slot. Murphy generated natural run on the FB up to 77 mph and relied heavily on the heat to record outs. From the IF he successfully changed slots with active footwork and athletic movements, ultimately topping out at 78 mph across the diamond. Offensively, the left handed hitter started from a slightly open stance with a smaller stride and compact hand set, intending to generate impact back up the middle. Contact tool is evident with power continuing to develop. Ran a 7.36 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
