Sebastian Santos-Olson is a 2024 1B/LHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Port Chester, NY who attends Iona Preparatory. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lean build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.62 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball out front with some bend at waist, longer arm action through the backside, deliberate tempo to actions, moves well on the charge, arm strength and carry on throws across. Also pitched, same steady tempo to delivery, works to a mid three-quarters release point on the mound. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, consistent running life to fastball and able to work away from right-handed hitters. Shows poise on the mound, comfort mixing in a late sweeping curveball up to 68 mph to get in on hitters. Left-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a double toe tap trigger for timing in the box. Longer swing path through the zone, generates lift out front at the point of contact and has strength in hands. Swings with intent, gets rotational at times but creates leverage, best contact to pull side. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
