Brendan O'Connell is a 2023 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Norco, CA who attends Norco. Compact and stocky frame with plenty of growing and physicality to project on. Ran a 7.50 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, attacks the baseball quickly with a young lower half into his release, takes his arm back to a full arm action up to an over the top arm slot, developing arm strength up to 70 mph from the outfield. Lefthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a slightly open stance, uses a big leg lift trigger into contact, swings with intent to his path, simple swing with a clean shift into contact and leverage to his path, barrel feel and bat speed provided consistent high exit velocities in batting practice, pull side power approach. Outstanding student.
