Hector Montilla is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-0 168 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Alonso. Ran a 7.13 second 60 yard dash, Primary outfielder, works toward the ball with short quick steps and carries the momentum from the approach through to the throwing process, showcased a strong arm when on top of the ball topping out at 92 mph from the outfield. On the bump, the right hander, starts his simple windup with a side step move into a high leg kick, showed a quick arm working to a three-quarters arm slot, fastball was true at 85-88 mph, mixed in a changeup with feel for a short diving action in the low 80's, also showed a slider in teh mid 70's with potential for sweeping break. Righthanded hitter, starts with an even stance, uses a leg lift trigger, showed a flat bat path with some hand quickness. Verygood student. Verbal commitment to Bethune-Cookman.
