Jonah Koester is a 2022 RHP/2B, 3B, SS, OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Eustis, FL who attends Eustis. Large frame with a slender frame showing room to fill out in the future. Ran a 8.01 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Funky delivery as he releases from a compact arm slot. Higher release point as he filled up the zone with a bevy of pitches. Fastball up to 70 mph and tunneled a changeup well off of it. Mixed in a breaking ball with slurvy actions and a knuckleball as well. Secondary Shortstop, sitting back on the baseball as he gathers deep in the stance. Takes extra steps into transfer and then releases from a higher slot. Accurate round the bag as he threw it 68 mph. Right-Handed Hitter, starting very narrow as he works into a small knee to knee type load. Transfers entire weight at once before firing the bat head. Looks to stay inside the baseball and drive it the other way. Outstanding Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
