JJ Faulkner is a 2022 OF/1B with a 5-11 172 lb. frame from Riegelwood, NC who attends East Columbus. Medium and skinny frame with plenty of projectable room to fill and time to do so. Ran a 7.25 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the baseball with athleticism to actions, works through the ball with a short crow hop and momentum into throws, full arm action producing average arm strength, topped out at 76 mph from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a spread out stance and high hand set, backside hitter with a short leg lift into swing, inside hand path into contact with raw and rotational actions to his stroke, swings with intent and a young barrel ability, will improve with additional momentum shifted into contact.
