Cristian Morales is a 2024 SS/2B with a 5-0 95 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Br. Rice. Small and young frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 9.28 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield moving to the ball with long strides, fields the ball out in front working through it and getting squared to throw, developing arm strength currently. Switch hitter, sets up at the plate on the right side with a slightly open stance, takes a short stride into contact, creates a long swing plane with rotational actions, from the left side his swing is similar in terms of length, the bat speed is a bit less from the left but he did show more contact skills from the left side, will improve with strength. Good student.
