2020 PG Underclass All American Games
Julien Hachem is a 2022 LHP/1B with a 6-7 235 lb. frame from Oak Park, IL who attends Mount Carmel Chicago. He ran a 7.65 second sixty. A primary left-handed pitcher with an extra large frame showing length in the limbs. He sat 86-90 mph with his fastball starting from the third base side of the rubber with a three-quarters to mid three-quarters arm slot, he showed feel for a scurvy breaking ball in the mid 70's landing it for strikes as well as a hard slider in the low 80's with short lat els weeping action across the zone, he does a nice job using his size and extension to create deception while commanding all three pitches in the zone with, will be interesting to follow moving forward with projectable potential left in his frame. At the plate, he showed a narrow tall stance from the left side, he uses a big leg lift trigger to time up the swing that showed intent to pull with loft int he bat path as he recorded a 89 mph exit velocity. Named to the 2020 PG Underclass All American Games Top Prospect List. Verbal commitment to Oklahoma.
