Aidan Masi is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Leonia, NJ who attends Leonia. Medium square shouldered athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Very good runner, 6.74 in the sixty. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a high leg raise load and a big barrel tilt to start his swing, has some hand quickness and some bat speed, best swings are when he's attacking the ball and looking to pull the ball, will occasionally get too inside in his swing path and not be able to turn the barrel, projects as a hitter with more strength and consistency. Has athletic actions through the ball in the outfield, fields the ball out front, tends to decelerate into his throws. Also pitched, has a slow paced delivery with a short stride down the mound, lands closed and works about his core, compact high 3/4's arm slot. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 76 mph with some angle to the plate, mostly straight, also threw a 1/7 curveball when he's on top of the ball. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
