Paired his clean mechanics with a short and quick arm action that he uses to then deliver his offerings from a high 3/4 arm slot. Tough on hitters a creates a lot of deception with his mechanics. Fastball was firm with life when down in the zone. Topped out at 86 mph with ability to control it, and reach back for more if he needs it. Also showcased a curveball with 1/7 shape that he could locate it to both sides of the plate. Secondary outfielder showed continued clean throwing mechanics and athleticism for his size with ability to get to all balls hit to him with first step quickness and agility. Smooth fielding actions and strong, accurate throws to bases. Left handed hitter starts with an open stance and low hand setup. Displays some patience in the box and hand-eye coordination as he was able to keep his weight back and shoot plenty of hard hit line-drive results to the left-centerfield gap. Raw power showcased more often when he stayed back and patient. Good student. Named to Southeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
