Max McGlone is a 2023 C/SS with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Doylestown, PA who attends Central Bucks-West. Large, athletic frame with present strength throughout his frame. Recorded a 7.55-second sixty-yard dash time. Primary catcher, starts with a lower, side-saddled set, and very athletic behind the plate. Gains ground with his lower half while remaining quick and fluid with his upper half, recorded a 1.86-second pop time. Strong arm with accurate throws to the base, able to repeat athletic motions continually, up to 80mph from behind the plate. Right-handed hitter, open stance with a high-hand set and high back elbow. Middle of the field approach with present bat speed, produced loud contact when he was on time and barreled the ball up. Swing path was inconsistent at times, refinement and simplification of swing mechanics would benefit and lead to consistently barrel up the ball, using his natural strength to lift the ball. Outstanding student. Named to 2021 Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
