Samuel Perry is a 2025 RHP/IF/OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Westport, MA who attends Diman Reg Voc Tech. Perry works from a strong athletically built frame and provided value at multiple defensive spots over the course of his day, starting on the bump where the primary RHP ran his FB up to 83 mph with plenty of spin profile in the arsenal. The operation was fluid and repeatable with a clean arm action and 3/4 release. In terms of off speed, Perry broke out a devastating CB up to 2598 rpm that displayed late sharp 11-5 movement and consistently generated swing and miss. From both the OF and IF, he flashed an aggressive attacking approach through the baseball and ultimately topped out at 84 mph at the former. Offensively, the righty started from a crouched even base with natural lift in the bat path and evident strength in the hands. He performed well in gap, roping balls gap to gap with carry and backspin. Posted an exit velo of 84 mph. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
