Wyatt King is a 2022 OF/RHP, MIF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from San Mateo, CA who attends St. Francis. Medium frame with an athletic build and room to continue to add throughout. Ran a 7.21 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Attacks the ball with long and athletic strides. Present glove actions fielding with a deeper funnel. Maintains momentum through transition and into throws. Accurate carry into the infield on throws topping out at 85 miles per hour. Also worked out from the infield. Soft glove actions out front with range to both sides. Gets the ball out quickly with carry through the bag. Righthanded hitter with an even stance and utilizes a sweeping leg lift trigger for timing. Shifts into contact creating torque in swing. Compact bat with some barrel speed through the zone. Looks to get the ball into the air. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a side step delivery into a medium leg lift. Longer take back at hand break into a three-quarters arm slot. Gets on top of pitches well and creates sink on the fastball at 82 miles per hour. Fills the zone well with developing command of a curveball with an 11-to-5 shape. Excellent student as well. Named to the 2018 14U National Showcase Top Prospect List.
