2023 West Academic Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Daniel Lloyd is a 2024 C/1B, 3B with a durable 5-10 195 lb. frame from Milpitas, CA who attends Archbishop Mitty HS. Stared off the event clocking a 7.55 60-yard dash. A primary catcher showed the ability to make clean transfers and be accurate with his throws to second base. Worked out at first base as well and has a crisp, clean round making all the required plays. Lloyd employed a pull approach in his BP round showing he could consistently put the barrel on the ball. He drove a few into the gap indicating that there maybe power potential in the future if progress continues to occur. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
