Cooper Thiemann is a 2023 C/RHP/2B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Washington, MO. Medium frame with an athletic build and square shoulders. Ran a 7.37 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Sets up in a lower side straddle stance. Long release and arm actions gaining short ground to the bag and getting tall at release. Clean and repeatable mechanics with the chance to continue to improve. Righthanded hitter with an upright and slightly open stance and a leg lift trigger for timing. Starts with hands forward and then back into load. Creates some lift in his swing with a middle of the field approach. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a short side step delivery into a belt high leg lift. Long arm action in the back and into a three-quarter arm slot. Shows feel for the zone and the ability to land the fastball on the corners topping out at 67 MPH. Mixes in an 11-to-5 curveball on occasion.
