Riley Ramroop is a 2027 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Palmbay, FL who attends Bayside. Big athletic build for a 2017, long and loose with tons of projection. Primary right handed pitcher, works from a side step delivery with a high leg raise, high front side working down the mound with a high 3/4's arm slot, gets good extension out front, will learn to use his lower half more as he gets repetitions. Fastball worked consistently in the low 70's, topped out at 72 mph, gets good sinking life and works well to the glove side. Still developing feel and consistency on his curveball. Threw lots of strikes with both pitches. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a busy hand load and a big stride in, was well timed in both BP and the games, has a smooth and fluid swing with very good extension, works gap to gap with some jump off the barrel, really projects well with the bat. 8.10 runner in the sixty. Primary infielder who will most likely end up at first base when not on the mound as he continues to grow. Two-way prospect who graded out higher as a hitter at this event. Good student. Named to the 13U/14U Sunshine South Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
