2022 Preseason HS Prospect Showcase
Maxwell Kluesner is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Weston, FL who attends Archbishop McCarthy. Long and lean athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 6.82 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, moves well to the ball with good body life and athleticism, good lower half mechanics, gets on top of his throws well, makes accurate throws with some carry to them. Right handed hitter, starts with a big leg lift load, drives his hands downhill to the ball, tends to get off balance and direction, can make adjustments to his swing for more consistent contact, has the raw bat speed and athleticism to improve. Also pitched, works from the stretch with a long arm takeaway in back, high 3/4's arm stroke. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with nice sinking action at times, also threw a pretty tight curveball, has some projection as a pitcher. Good athlete, key to development is improvement with the bat. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
