Ryan Morgan is a 2027 C/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Veterans Memorial. Athletic build with a somewhat physical frame. Strong lower half. Primary catcher with a traditional setup. Good clean actions with quick feet and quick release. Made strong and accurate throws to second with a 2.02 pop time. Will be good once he adds more arm strength. Ran a 8.16 sixty. Also played infield. Works around the ball well with a strong arm. Made all throws with good accuracy. Has a low center of gravity with quick feet. Fluid motions. Left-handed hitter starting slightly opened with a narrow base. Uses a double toe tap trigger for timing. Was on time a lot and produced quality contact off the barrel. Controls the barrel well through the zone with solid weight transfer firing off the back side nicely. Also pitched and gets aggressive downhill. Creates good arm speed and good life to the fastball with late ride through the zone. Flashed a power curve with consistent finish down in the zone as his real out pitch.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
