2023 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Jason Roser is a 2024 OF/SS, MIF, UT with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Hillsborough, NJ who attends Rutgers Preparatory. Twitchy athlete with wiry strength and some future projection physically. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.32 seconds. Primary position OF, work deliberately through his reps and using shuffle step to transfer for throws. Delivered feeds to bags with velocity up to 70 mph. Reps on the IF as well. Deliberate actions once again with a feel for the glove. Making plays with accurate throws up to 72 mph across the diamond. RHH working from a crouched even stance and exaggerated high back elbow. Toe tap trigger to get him started and create some energy and timing. Hands are quick and drive the swing as he works directly to contact. A bit rotational here and there but when in the middle of the field showed productive low-line drives. Consistency will grow with added strength and reps. Outstanding student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
