2022 Nashville Prospect Showcase
Kole Gray is a 2024 OF/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Brentwood, TN who attends Brentwood. Kole showed some speed in the sixty yard dash running a 6.93. Kole has a slender athletic build with plenty of room for additional strength to the frame. Primary outfield Gray is very aggressive to the ball fielding it to the Side of the body. he has a smooth glove to hand transfers with some drive from his backside. He showed plenty of arm strength on his throws with some carry and accuracy to the bases. On the mound Kole has a narrow base on the 3B side of the rubber. He has a very simple athletic operation with a belt high leg lift landing linear to the plate. He works from a high 3/4s arm slot with some occasional life on the fastball. CB shows tight vertical break that he showed good feel for and command of in the zone. Right handed hitter has a medium open base with a slight leg lift trigger. The hands start high and stay high at trigger as he showed some bat speed through the zone and strength at impact. He utilizes a pull side approach. Kole was named to the 2022 Nashville Prospect Showcase Top Team List.
