2021 Summer Northeast Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Randy Ramnarace is a 2022 RHP/SS/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Brentwood, NY who attends St. John the Baptist. As a primary RHP, Ramnarace worked from an athletic strong frame out of a 3/4 arm slot and a loose whippy arm action. He showed clear heavy life on his FB up to 86 mph while pounding the zone and attacking hitters aggressively. Ramnarace mixed in a raw curve with solid shape as well as a fading mid 70's changeup to keep hitters constantly off balance. From the OF, he attacked the ball with intent and showed accurate throws with carry. Offensively, Ramnarace displayed a leveraged stroke with a strong barrel through the zone. He showcased quick hands and flashed power potential. Ran a 7.16 60 yard dash. Named to the 2021 Summer Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
