Grayson Reece is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Mechanicsville, VA who attends Hanover. Thin, athletic frame with long levers that really lead to some interesting physical projection with maturation. Ran a 7.31 60-yard dash. Primary infielder, low slot across the body on throws with accuracy, present footwork with coordination of his body, snatch to the hands, made the plays look routine with a very gamelike round, solid charge flashed the athleticism and ability to drop slots on the move, showed some very interesting traits here and handled the spot very nicely in game as well. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works from the stretch only and first base side of the rubber, quick leg lift to the belt, stationary hands below belt break to medium inline path, medium stride down the slope, flashed 77-mph in a two strike count and sat low 70's throughout, higher effort release, rolling curveball with developing feel to spin and land for strikes present with low spin change-up rounding the arsenal off. Right-handed hitter, even and square base with high hands and back elbow, busier hands that dip to the letters in the load, middle of the field contact and really got on plane late with consistent barrels to wrap up the round, some hitterish traits in there. Overall package really projects nicely with additional strength that will come. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
