Ryan Neilson is a 2022 RHP/MIF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Collierville, TN who attends Collierville. A primary right-handed pitcher with a medium build, showing some present strength in the lower half. On the mound he starts with a small side step and leg lift above the belt, he worked the fastball to both halves of the plate and showed some sink on the arm side playing well in on right-handed hitters, He also mixed in a curveball with 12-6 shape and flashed hard downer action when he was on time and out front with the release point, was able to maintain his velocity though out the outing using his lower half well and staying on line to the plate. Very good student. Named to the 2020 Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
