Evan Sherard is a 2026 C/1B with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Upper Marlboro, MD who attends Riverdale Baptist. Medium, young frame with long limbs and a lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.99 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, higher set up behind the plate during drills, receives ball out front, medium length arm action through the back, arm strength and carry on throws will continue to develop, longer stride coming out of crouch. Right-handed hitter, begins with a tight hand set up at the start and utilizes a high leg lift trigger for timing. Keeps hands inside the baseball, occasionally gets to front side with weight shift early, short stroke through the zone. Upper body dominant swing, can get more extension out front, contact oriented approach.
