Steele Bardwell is a 2021 RHP/3B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Willis, TX who attends Willis. Recorded a 7.47 second sixty-yard dash time. Large frame with long levers and present athleticism. Primary right-handed pitcher; simple, athletic operation with good tempo and quick movements down the slope. Fills up the zone consistently from a high three-quarters arm slot with short, quick arm action on the backside. Fastball worked in the upper-70s with occasional cut to the glove side, topping out at 81 MPH. Secondary offering is a curveball that shows true swing-and-miss potential with downer action and ability to land for strikes. Repeats delivery well with athleticism and efficiency. Secondary third baseman with a developing defensive skill set; slightly segmented fielding process with elongated actions and long arm action. Recorded throws up to 81 MPH across the diamond with accuracy and carry. Right-handed hitter that uses a wide, open stance with a high hand set and high back elbow prior to launch. Middle of the field approach with good lower half weight shift, line drive plane and present bat speed. Consistent bat-to-ball skills with flashes of pull-side pop. Good Student.
