Jackson McCoy is a 2023 OF/3B with a 5-8 156 lb. frame from Myrtle Beach, SC who attends Carolina Forest. Medium frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 7.07 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes a smooth and fluid approach to the ball, works under control and fields it cleanly off his front foot, releases from a long arm action and was clocked up to 79 mph on throws. Right-handed hitter, balanced setup, shows very good bat speed working through the zone, hands work well in the swing, can get slightly inconsistent with the path but added strength would allow him to maintain through impact. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
