Cameron Richey is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Sanford, NC who attends Southern Lee. Long and loose athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow and open stance with a well timed stride into contact, has quick and active hands, gets the barrel on plane early and keeps it there with potentially high level barrel to ball skills, showed his power well in the games, projects very well overall as a hitter. 7.18 runner in the sixty. Moves well in the outfield and gathers the ball well out front, gets his weight behind his throws with a clean arm action. Good athlete with some present baseball skills for his age who will continue to improve. Good student. Named to the Spring Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
