Wagner Morrissette is a 2022 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Whitsett, NC who attends The Burlington School. Slope shouldered young build with plenty of strength potential and physical projection. Multi-part delivery, upper and lower halves can get out of sync as his front foot lands very early in comparison to his arm stroke, arm is loose and fast coming through, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 89 mph, plenty more velocity there is physical maturity and delivery adjustments, tends to work arm side due to arm timing. Showed good depth to his slider with some power behind it, was his best pitch for much of the outing. Showed potential on his change up as well. Good student, verbal commitment to Maryland.
