Brandon Winokur is a 2023 SS/OF with a 6-5 210 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Edison. Extra-large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Excellent athlete, posted a 6.56 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front with two hands, developing actions moving to backhand, accurate throws from a lower slot, easy arm strength and carry. Graded out best in the outfield where power with the bat fits profile, nice combination of projection and athleticism in actions, compact arm action with a higher release point, high energy actions, arm strength and carry stand out. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance, uses length well to generates excellent leverage at the point of contact. Plus bat speed through the zone, ball jumps when squared and easy to envision big power long-term, best contact to pull side, swung it well all summer. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to UCLA. Named to the 2022 Perfect Game All-American Classic.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
