Brendan Ryan is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Windermere, FL who attends The First Academy. Tall and lean frame. Ran a 6.90 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, works through the baseball shuffling into his release, sits back with low effort actions, short arm throws, topped out at 76 mph from the outfield. Secondary righthanded pitcher, tempo to his delivery with a 3/4 arm slot, fastball topped out at 75 mph with cutting action, mixes in a curveball with developing spin out of his hand and 11-5 shape. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a narrow stance and balance, leg lift trigger, hands dip into contact as stride foot lands, has a linear swing path with a middle of the field approach. could improve impact strength and bat speed with additional lower half involvement in the swing.
