Luke Mariscal is a 2022 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Fontana, CA who attends Etiwanda. Long and lean build, very projectable athletic look. Right handed hitter, has a simple well balanced approach at the plate, fires his hands hard and creates bat speed, aggressive hitter who is looking to drive the ball, creates nice leverage at contact and projects big power as he fills out and gets stronger, can get over aggressive at times and get out front, pull side approach. 7.34 runner in the sixty. Comes through the ball well with athletic actions, good fundamental footwork, quick arm that generates on line carry. Also pitched, low hand start to his delivery, slow paced and deliberate, over the top arm action. Fastball sat in the low 80's with good arm side running life and topped out at 83 mph to go with a big curveball that he could get out front with more consistently. Very projectable in all areas of the game. Good student. Named to the Sunshine West Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
