Jt Bardwell is a 2021 LHP/OF with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Hot Springs, AR who attends Lake Hamilton. Long and slender build with a projectable frame moving forward. Primary lefthanded pitcher working exclusively from the stretch. Leg lift above the belt landing on line to the plate. Loose and whippy arm action in the back and into a three-quarter arm slot. Works the fastball to both edges of the plate looking to attack hitters early and get on top touching 80 MPH. Late depth on a 12-to-6 curveball when getting on top and the ability to work around the knees. Secondary outfielder with a quick close and athletic strides to the ball. Fields off to the side with a long gather into throws. Maintains momentum throughout and into releases showing carry to the bag at 84 MPH. Lefthanded hitter with an open stance to start. Big shifts into contact with looseness to swing. Shows some pop to the pull side of the field. Very good student as well.
