James Murchison is a 2021 LHP/ with a 6-9 215 lb. frame from Thomaston, GA who attends Pike County. Extra large and sturdy frame. Only pitched at the event, lefthanded pitcher, begins his windup with a short turn step up to a belt high leg lift, deliberate delivery with low effort, hands and lower half work in sync down the mound, takes the baseball back to a full arm action up to an extended 3/4 arm slot, bends at waist at the top of his balance point, shorts extension but does a nice job of getting out over his front side. Fastball topped out at 71 mph with varying life to both armside and glove side, should develop an offspeed pitch for added effectiveness, size to like and dream on with young actions on the mound.
