Jonathan Vega is a 2023 SS/2B with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Lawrence, MA who attends Lawrence. Showed above average speed with a 6.87 second sixty. Primary short stop with a smaller twitchy build. Does a nice job receiving the ball out front and bring it in quickly to the mid line as he travels toward the target, with developing arm strength from a higher slot and fine release. Right-handed hitter, starts with a narrow base using a hanging leg lift trigger. Does a nice job throwing the hands at the inside part of the ball creating line drive type contact to the middle of the field. Good student. Named to the 2022 Sunshine East Top Prospect List.
