Chandler Buss is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Huntsville, AL who attends Virgil Grissom HS. Long and lean athletic , , projects well physically. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight leg stance with a deep hand load, short stride to contact, tends to fire his front side early, has some bat speed with line drive pull side contact, can improve offensively with additional strength and some front side adjustments. 7.01 runner, moves well to the ball in the outfield with good footwork and a quick release, arm strength still developing. Also pitched, high leg lift delivery with minimal lower half turn, compact arm stroke with some extension out front. Fastball topped out at 76 mph, threw strikes with his fastball. Curveball was tight with good power and some biting action. Good student.
