Marty Moran is a 2020 SS/IF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from St Petersburg, FL who attends Indian Rocks Christian. Medium frame with a slender build and square shoulders. Ran a 7.38 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary shortstop. Sits back some and waits on the ball. Fields out front with some glove actions into funnel. Releases from a side arm slot with developing accuracy. Soft carry to the bag topping out at 73 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with with a narrow stance and short leg lift trigger. Works with linear actions into contact with a line drive swing plane. Looks to get some elevation to the ball from a long swing path. Works mostly to the middle of the field. Excellent student as well.
