2022 Northeast Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Carson Niedzielski is a 2023 RHP/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Worcester, PA who attends LaSalle. Recorded a 5.57 second forty-yard dash time. Medium frame with some length to his levers and plenty of room to add strength. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with slightly higher leg lift and good lower half movements down the slope. Fastball worked in the mid-70s for the duration of his outing and topped out at 77 mph in this look from a high three-quarters arm slot. Creates good downhill plane at times and flashes heavy life through the bottom of the zone when in-sync. Mixed in 11-5 shaped curveball that has some gradual depth to it and developing changeup that flashes some fade. Will continue to improve with mechanical adjustments and additional strength. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics to get to launch and developing bat-to-ball skills. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Plenty of projection remaining as he continues to physically mature. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
