Chance Mako is a 2023 RHP/3B with a 6-6 190 lb. frame from Salisbury, NC who attends East Rowan HS. Recorded a 7.92 second 60-yard dash time. Extra large frame with broad shoulders, long limbs, and a ton of physical projection remaining. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Works very fast with a compact operation overall. Fastball lived in the low-90s up to 93 mph with solid arm side life. Slider has good spin with swing-and-miss bite on the pitch. Changeup a quality third pitch with almost no lift and up to 17 inches of horizontal movement. Fastball needs to be optimized a bit more but has two out pitch secondaries with plus arm speed and a huge ceiling. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to North Carolina State.
