Joseph Michael Morales is a 2022 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Sunshine State Elite Academy. Primary left-handed pitcher with a medium mature build. Starts with a short ticker step into a leg lift well above the belt. The arm action has some deception to it as it tracks short through the back to an over the top arm slot. The fastball got over consistently to the arm side at 76-79 mph while he was also able to land a cut changeup. The command of the breaking ball was a bit shaky but did show some depth around the plate when he was able to get extension out front. Good student.
