Esteban Garcia is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends IMG Academy. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, has a nice and loose swing with very good extension through contact, generates solid present bat speed, has some lift out front from a small backside collapse, showed his gap to gap power well in the games, very projectable hitter who will keep improving as he gets stronger. 7.31 runner in the sixty. Showed good fundamental actions in the outfield on defense with sound footwork through the ball and into his throws, loose and long arm action that should continue to gain strength. Good looking young hitter. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
